Farm animal services

We work with large animal clients across the Isle of Wight to find the best solutions for your animals and business.

We have a vet on call 24/7, 365 days a year, with the aim of always being there when you need us.

Our vets make regular visits to our clients’ farms to ensure we’re giving you the support you need, with the support of facilities such as the in-house laboratory at our hospital site.

Our services include parasite investigation and farm-specific parasite control programs for cattle, sheep and camelids, and we can perform TB testing via XL FarmCare for beef and dairy clients, as well as private and government TB testing for camelids on the island.

Our team can discuss and investigate mastitis, lameness and infectious diseases on farms, and work with our clients to control and eliminate these issues. 

We offer flock and herd health plans for those working with farm assurance schemes and milk purchasers, and work with farms to optimise the latest Annual Health and Welfare Review.

We also cover all aspects of camelid care and management.
